At the beginning of the
millennium, a small group of
St. Francis High School
administrators, board members,
and friends began to envision
a world-class science facility
for the school. Even though
the school had barely finished
building the new athletic
facility and cultural arts center,
we dreamed of a science wing
that would match the talent,
ingenuity, and passion of our
students and faculty. We also
saw St. Francis' future alums -
doctors, CEOs,
and teachers
steeped in the sciences and
nurtured "in the daily presence
of Christ" - leading our country
and local communities. And
we envisioned a modernized
campus infrastructure, one
that
would continue to allow our
students to excel in academics,
performing arts and athletics,
while still maintaining the
family feel that has made
St. Francis so special from one
generation
to the next.
