Music Ensemble and Pep Band
Selected
The
St. Francis Music Ensemble on being selected to
perform at the Illinois Music Educators
Association Conference in Peoria, Illinois in
January of 2009. The Music Ensemble is comprised
of students who play guitar, bass guitar, piano,
drums and percussion. They were chosen as one of
the most outstanding and innovative music
groups in the state of Illinois. They are led by
Mr. Bob Mamminga who will, in addition to the
performance, give a presentation and clinic to
other music educators from around the
state. The St. Francis Pep Band was
selected as one of the bands to perform at the
Illinois State High School Volleyball Tournament
held at Illinois State University. Sixty
students will travel to perform and provide music
for the tournament on November 15,
2009.

If you did not complete a Student Health and Emergency
form on your child, please do so ASAP. You can

page. All students who carry
inhalers must have on file in the Wellness Office
an Authorization for Administration of
Medication form. Please see the

breakfast? Sodexho Foodservices has
breakfast sandwiches, granola bars, muffins,
bagels, cereal, milk, and juice available daily in
the Student Union snack room at 7:00 a.m.
The snack room is also open during study
hall, lunch and after school. If you
need additional dining dollars added to your meal
card, just send a check payable to Sodexho to the
school or your child can hand it in at
lunch. If you have any questions,
