find something to be thankful for, no matter what
may be the burden of our wants, or the special
subject of our petitions." ~ Albert
Barnes

Thank
you for Supporting our
Troops
Great respect and appreciation goes out
to all who donated and participated in the
Operation Support Our Troops supply drive.
In just seven short days we managed to collect
1,167 pounds of supplies! If you consider that
some of the weight was comprised of Pringles and
toilet paper that is truly amazing. Once
again, St. Francis students, faculty and staff
have proven why this is a place of great
compassion and charity. The Social Studies
Department extends a heartfelt thank you for the
great respect and honor that was shown by the St.
Francis community throughout the Veterans Day
activities. God Bless our troops and God
Bless
America.

Easy Ways that you can Support St.
Francis
Target We've
discovered a terrific way to raise funds for our
school. It's super-easy, and all you have to do is
use your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. We will
receive a percentage of the amount of each
purchase in the form of a cash donation from
Target through the Take Charge of Education®
program. It's easy. Just visit target.com/tcoe, or call
1-800-316-6142 to designate our school. So if
you're going to Target anyway, please consider
using your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. Big
thanks to those who are already doing their part
to make a great school even better. Grandparents,
alumni, neighbors and friends can take part,
too. Last year Target donated
$2,740.33 back to St.
Francis. eScrip Tis the

you online, allowing you to see just how much
you are earning on your child's behalf!
Last year eScrip donated

SearchWhat if St Francis High
School earned a donation every time you searched
the Internet? Or how about if a percentage of
every purchase you made online went to support our
cause? Well, now it can! GoodSearch.com is a new
Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its
advertising revenue, about a penny per search, to
the charities its users designate. Use it just as
you would any search engine, get quality search
results from Yahoo, and watch the donations add
up! GoodShop.com
is a new online shopping mall which donates up
to 30 percent of each purchase to your favorite
cause! Hundreds of great stores including Amazon,
Target, Gap, Best Buy, ebay, Macy's and Barnes
& Noble have teamed up with GoodShop and every
time you place an order, you'll be supporting your
favorite cause. And if you download the
GoodSearch - St Francis High School toolbar, our
cause will earn money every time you shop and
search online - even if you forget to go to
GoodShop or GoodSearch first! Add the St Francis
High School toolbar at http://www.goodsearch.com/toolbar/st-francis-high-school-wheaton |
